RX Global Data Universe
Goals
RX Global set out to launch their inaugural Data Universe event with a spectacular debut. They faced the challenge of accommodating six separate theaters on the exhibit hall floor in the North Javits Center. Each stage’s content needed to be dynamic, engaging, but also insulated from the noise of other theaters and exhibitors. RX aimed to create a solution that would keep attendees on the exhibit hall floor, while still engaging with their content and sponsors throughout the day.
Solution
To meet RX Global’s ambitious goals, we crafted a unique and immersive experience designed to keep attendees focused on the action. Each theater was equipped with a team of top-notch producers and technical directors, ensuring speakers were well-rehearsed and presentations were meticulously quality controlled before going on stage. To address the challenge of ambient noise, we introduced silent conference headsets, delivering crystal clear audio directly to individual attendees. This innovative solution allowed RX to realize their vision of housing all their content on a single floor within the same room. Our collaboration with the RX team resulted in the creation of six visually stunning stages, each featuring compelling and high-quality content. The silent headsets not only enhanced the audio experience but also provided the freedom to design an open layout without acoustic interference. Attendees could move freely while staying engaged with the presentations, creating a seamless blend of accessibility and immersion.
Results
The first Data Universe event was a resounding success. Attendees enjoyed an enhanced audio experience that eliminated distractions, allowing them to better retain the presented content. The open-air theaters generated significant curiosity and FOMO among those who could see but not hear the presentations, drawing more interest and engagement. The innovative use of headsets also facilitated a flexible design and layout, contributing to longer dwell times as attendees could easily navigate between theaters and exhibitors without missing key content. Additionally, the event achieved substantial cost savings on space rentals by utilizing open-air setups without compromising on the quality of the experience. The event achieved RX Global’s goal of creating a dynamic and engaging environment, setting the standard for future open air events.
