BORN OUT OF
LOVE FOR LIVE
After working for years in creative roles as a filmmaker, SFG’s founder Sean Gannet was introduced to the TED Conferences, where his experience in cinema collided with live production.
Sean found in this new context a knack and passion for the format. It was quickly apparent to him that messages delivered LIVE could take on a unique power to incite immediate change. He began mixing his cinematic edge with event production techniques to provide more story-driven and, as a result, more effective shows.
This love for live eventually inspired Sean to found SFG Productions in 2013, which quickly expanded beyond TED to serve clients such as Slack, Sundance, ACLU, as well as other exciting partners.
Since then, SFG has continued to innovate in its own unique space where flawless production capabilities are offered alongside creative services such as scripting, speaker coaching, and directing—resulting in powerful and purposeful shows no one else can deliver.
